The Waterfront Restaurant is located on Marine Parade directly on the seafront.
The menu comprises of exquisite locally sourced fish and shellfish with modern flavours in a refined and inviting atmosphere, The Waterfront is the perfect backdrop for living unforgettable moments and creating lifelong memories.
We are looking for passionate Kitchen Porter to join The Waterfront team. As Kitchen Porter, your role will be to ensure that the Kitchen is clean and well maintained. Your key duties will include;
- Cleaning the overall Kitchen.
- Washing dishes including pots, pans and fryers.
- Build and maintain good rapport with colleagues throughout service.
- Help Chef's with basic prep
- Ensure all deliveries are put away under the guidance of the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
About you
The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
- ·Have experience in a similar position within a quality restaurant environment
- ·Have a passion for your work and the ability to innovate, with a proven track record within luxury environments
- ·Have the ability to operate in a diverse and quality environment with a focus on guest experience
- ·Be a self-motivator and someone who is ready to challenge in the interest of continuous improvement
- ·Excellent level of English
- ·Be friendly, approachable and professional
- ·Have a high degree of knowledge in Food Hygiene and Safe Working Practice
