Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as required.
- Help with inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and reporting any shortages.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in the delivery of food to dining areas when needed, providing excellent hospitality to guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills will be advantageous.
- A background in hospitality or culinary arts will be considered a plus.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure are essential qualities for this role.
