We specialise in transforming historic, character-filled properties into exceptional spaces for guests and communities. From vibrant pubs and boutique hotels to commercial offices and retail spaces, every project reflects our commitment to quality, heritage, and thoughtful design.
Hospitality
Our hospitality portfolio includes 20 venues, of which we directly operate three:
- The Machine Inn in Ashbourne - a lively gastropub blending modern dining with historic charm
- The Falcon Tap Boutique Hotel in York - a boutique city-centre hotel in a beautifully restored historic building
- Hopton Hall Gardens - open seasonally to the public, known for its stunning snowdrop walks and landscaped grounds
The remaining venues include pubs, restaurants, holiday lets, and hotels, many housed in listed buildings. We are continuing to expand our hospitality footprint while maintaining a strong focus on preserving the unique stories behind each property.
Heritage & Property
Most of our buildings are listed, requiring expert care and sensitive renovation. At the heart of our efforts is Hopton Hall, where we are currently undertaking a five-year project to restore all 60 rooms to their former glory. Beyond hospitality, our wider property portfolio includes offices, retail spaces, and development properties across Derbyshire, Yorkshire, and Nottinghamshire—all managed with the same commitment to quality and conservation.
