IT Project Coordinator
2. Job Purpose
This role is required to support the business and its team in the management of IT, including coordinating data and information for company projects, website development, social media, hardware and systems.
The individual will be the first point of call for non-service desk queries to ensure queries are dealt with quickly reducing any operational impact. They will keep the website and social media channels up to date with business content that is aligned to the company strategy.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
· Support the delivery of IT projects - initially moving to an independent IT structure and pursuing Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.
· Track IT assets in the business, reviewing recommended time to refresh equipment and where assets can be reused
· Order, arrange build and distribute new equipment
· First point of contact for non-service desk IT queries to direct to right place
· Support in the gathering of IT information for certifications, accreditations and other external requirements
· Maintain the company website with up-to-date content
· Build the company social media presence
· Provide general administrative duties on company IT-related projects
3. Person Specification
Technical knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Organisation skills to track and review progress of projects
- Website build is an advantage, but not essential - individual must have a technical competence to learn website provider software
- Project coordination skills
- Specific technical knowledge of IT, coding, etc. is not a requirement of this role.
Communication and relationship skills
- Communicates with all levels of staff within D-Hive, Pride and DHS to collate content for the website and social media
- Create website and social media style content from the information provided by the business
- Always be professional and approachable
- Maintain professional relationships to ensure that any changes to circumstances relating to equipment requirements are recognised and updated as soon as possible
Planning and organisational skills
- Keeps accurate records of all IT equipment, orders and returns
- Identify the best rotation of resources to ensure all assets are fully utilised
- Track project progress and chase individuals for actions and relevant data
- Updates website and social media regularly with a variety of content sourced from all areas of the business in line with external company brand.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
