Job Purpose/Summary
An exciting opportunity to join our small in-house IT & Marketing Team that manages marketing content, social media, reporting and admin for the business. We are looking for a strong proactive worker who can be given a task and complete this independently when needed and also work within a small team. We welcome forward thinking, enthusiastic people who really want to get involved and be part of a successful team pushing DDC Foods forwards.
Below is a list of some key responsibilities but as you progress there is always plenty of variety added in the role.
- Assisting the IT & Marketing Team in keeping on top of company price increases ensuring customer margins are maintained when suppliers are increasing their prices.
- Responsible for creating new customer accounts and ensure all online platforms for these customers are up to date with correct details.
- Assisting customers and suppliers when reports are requested throughout the month.
- Maintaining website content and keeping it up to date with imagery, descriptions, logos and further brand information.
- Running monthly reports for suppliers and customers at the start of the month.
- Keeping E-Procurement catalogues up to date, making sure what is in our internal system is in line with customer portals.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of excel, using multiple spreadsheets and formulas
- Attention to detail
- Good with numbers and percentages
- IT knowledge
- Previous experience on Adobe creative suite, Photoshop etc (not essential but useful to have)
Other Information
- Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – 9:30am to 2:30pm
- Holiday Entitlement: 20 days + 8 Bank Holidays (Pro-Rata)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £17,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 per week
