In-House Interpreter (English + Vietnamese)
Salary: £30,000 pro-rata
Location: Manchester Office (near Old Trafford) Remote working available if not located within Manchester
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 4:00 PM (32.5 hours/week)
Work Pattern: Hybrid 4 days in-office, 1 day remote

About the Role
As an in-house interpreter, youll provide professional telephone interpreting services to support individuals with limited English proficiency. Youll work across essential sectors including healthcare, legal, education, and social caredelivering accurate, confidential, and culturally sensitive interpretation.
This is a permanent employed role, not freelance, offering a consistent schedule and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and mission-driven team.
What Youll Do
- Deliver live telephone interpreting between professionals and service users.
- Support communication in medical, legal, social care, and public sector settings.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity in all interactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to manage interpreting requests and priorities.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

- Experience in interpreting or relevant qualifications
- Excellent listening, memory, and communication skills
- Professionalism, empathy, and cultural awareness
