As a member of the Intellectual Property Lifecycle Management Professional Services team, an Implementation Consultant is responsible for ensuring the world-class delivery of Clarivate’s IPLM software to support the business processes for our mid-size, large, and strategic clients by delivering projects on schedule and within scope and budget, relying on best practices and adhering to defined implementation methodologies.

It would be great if you also have . . .
5+ years of relevant work experience in the Intellectual Property field. Hands-on knowledge of Intellectual Property management best practices, filing procedures, data, business processes, and terminology
IP related certification such as Certificate in Patent Administration
3+ years of software implementation and/or consulting experience
At least 3 years knowledge of Inprotech at Administrator or Heavy-user level
Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional formative experience
Project Management certification such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and above
Proficient in SQL Server
Experience in system testing (Unit Testing, UAT etc.)
Experience in user training
What will you be doing in this role?
Assume ownership of implementation projects from initiation to close and be accountable for ensuring the ultimate success of the project.
Manage and balance business stakeholders’ and client expectations regarding schedule, cost, and scope and ensure project requirements are developed, clearly defined, and agreed upon.
Manage implementation projects to ensure compliance with On-Boarding Services implementation methodologies, best practices, and procedures to continually improve the quality of project delivery.
Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion of project tasks and proactive management and escalations related to possible scope and budget issues
Monitor and report on implementation project key success metrics.
Assist in the continuous improvement and documentation related to standard operating procedures and processes for Intellectual Property Group Professional Services team implementations.
Support the Sales enablement process by assisting during demos, meeting with prospects to review business requirements and the implementation methodology, scoping projects, and drafting Statements of Work and Service Orders.
About the Team
This role reports to the Manager, Service Implementation working as part of a team of 7 Inprotech Implementation Consultants based predominantly in the UK.
Hours of Work
Full-time, permanent role based in London on a hybrid basis (2 days’ per week in the office).
