At Krispy Kreme, we’re committed to delivering the highest quality doughnuts while ensuring the safety and well-being of our team members. We are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting sites across the UK. This is a field-based position that will require regular travel to multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Policy Development & Implementation: Develop, review and implement health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards.
Risk Assessments & Audits: Carry out regular site visits, risk assessments and safety audits, identifying hazards and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Training & Awareness: Deliver engaging training sessions to staff and managers, building a strong culture of safety.
Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into workplace accidents and near misses, recording findings and recommending preventative measures.
Compliance Monitoring: Monitor adherence to legal requirements and company procedures, driving continuous improvement.
Toolbox Talks & Campaigns: Design and deliver safety materials and initiatives to raise awareness on key topics.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyse safety performance data to identify trends and recurring issues.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a health and safety advisory role, ideally within manufacturing or food production.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
- Excellent communication, training delivery and report-writing skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car – frequent travel is essential.
