Overview

Strata Solicitors are searching for a Litigation Handler to join our team in Tamworth. This role involves handling complex motor claims for large corporations and addressing personal injury, property damage, credit hire, low velocity impact (LVI), and fraud cases.


How you'll make an impact
  • Manage motor claims for major companies from start to finish, ensuring detailed execution throughout the process.
  • Accurately assess liability and manage claim reserves in strict accordance with client agreements.
  • Investigate third-party claims, negotiate settlements, and strive for the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Determine the value of damages and apply legal principles to improve client benefits.
  • Ensure strict compliance with office protocols and client agreements.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate data within the case management system.
  • Provide outstanding support to the litigation team and supervise tasks assigned to Claims Administration Assistants.
  • Ensure all financial transactions align with client agreements and legal regulations.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to the litigation team, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment.

About You
  • Demonstrated experience in handling defence claims within insurance or TPA settings (preferred).
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, encouraging their growth and development (preferred).
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and determine priorities effectively.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work extra hours when necessary to achieve results.
