Mill Ride Golf Club is looking for an additional golf course driving range attendant to support the existing team. We are a friendly Golf Club with a healthy membership.
The duties will include collecting and cleaning golf balls, maintaining the range's cleanliness, ensuring adequate ball supply, and providing customer service. Key responsibilities of a golf course range attendant:
Driving Range Operations:
- Ball Collection: Gathering golf balls from the range using a picker machine or by hand.
- Ball Cleaning: Washing collected golf balls to ensure they are clean and ready for use.
- Ball Dispensing: Ensuring the ball dispenser machine is adequately stocked.
- Range Maintenance: Maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the driving range, including removing litter and debris.
Customer Service:
- Answering questions: Providing information and assistance to golfers using the range.
- Creating a welcoming environment: Ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all golfers.
- Other Duties:
- Operating machinery: Some roles may involve operating machinery for ball collection and other tasks.
- Basic Golf Course Maintenance: May include raking bunkers, moving tee markers, or other minor maintenance tasks.
In essence, a golf course range attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the driving range, contributing to a positive experience for all golfers.
Hours of Work:Part Time with shifts of 4 hours per day covering 3 or 4 days per week.
Job Types: Part-time, Volunteer
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 16 per week
