Gardener/Maintenance Assistant
Working 18 hours per week, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Our Maintenance Team here at The Mayfields Care Home in Long Stratton takes pride in maintaining our buildings and gardens to the highest possible standards. The quality and appearance of our care home and their grounds create the first impression for visitors and are a source of enjoyment and great pleasure for the residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the home, equipment and gardens are maintained to a high standard and remain fully functional to our residents and visitors.
- Carry out maintenance work on the home’s grounds, gardens and building externals to produce an aesthetically pleasing, well maintained and safe environment.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained and safely secured at all times.
- Ensure that all work undertaken is with full consideration to the comfort, security and sensitivity of the residents.
