Garden Centre Assistant
The Role
We’re a local, independent garden centre group based in Stonescross, East Sussex. Both our garden centres are nestled in the beautiful Sussex countryside, providing the perfect place to stop by and browse our homegrown plants, local produce, animal feeds and much more!
We're looking for a General Assistant to join our friendly team to assist with general day to day tasks within the garden centre. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate, with great customer service skills.
Location: Upcountry Stonescross
Hours: 7.5 per week (saturdays)
Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Stock Management
- Local Deliveries
- Operating the Tills
- General Customer Service
- Organising and distributing stock
The Ideal candidate would have:
- Great customer service skills
- Organisational skills
- Holds a full UK driving license
- Previous retail or garden centre experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
