Job Summary
We are currently looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our passionate and successful team.
Candidates should be friendly, attentive and passionate about delivering excellent customer service to meet and exceed our guests' expectations.
Responsibilities and Duties
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Greeting guests with a warm welcome
- Checking guests in and out of the hotel
- Carrying out day to day banking ensuring all floats are correct
- Answering telephone and email enquiries promptly
- Liaising with all departments of the Hotel to ensure everyone has the correct daily information
- Help maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the Reception area
- This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours per week consisting of five 8 hour shifts. Shifts vary from 7am until 3pm or 3pm until 11pm midweek and 8am until 4pm or 4pm until 12am at weekends.
Qualifications and Skills
Successful candidates should:
- Have the ability to work calmly and well under pressure
- Have an outgoing, confident personality and superb attention to detail
- Should be reliable and smartly dressed
- Have a good approach to team work
- Previous Hotel experience is preferred but not essential.
Your own transport is important as our location is rural and buses in-frequent
Candidates should be eligible to live and work in the UK.
