Dental Receptionist required 5 days a week ideally somebody with reception experiance that could lead and manage a team.
Salary negotiable on experience.
Job Purpose:
Serves patients by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies clinical staff of patient arrival; maintains security and telecommunications system; takes payments; cashing up; selling sundries. Work along side a current team of 5 receptionists within a busy NHS and private nine surgery practice.
Duties:
- Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Maintains security by following procedures.
- Maintains telecommunication system.
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Working along side the dental team providing key communication and updates.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Telephone skills, verbal communication, Microsoft Office skills, listening, professionalism, customer focus, organisation, informing others, handles pressure, phone skills, supply management.
You may be required to carry out any other duties considered to be within your skill and competence to assist with the smooth running of the practice and facilitate the treatment of patients, when it is considered necessary or appropriate by management. Experience in a dental environment is preferable but not essential.
The successful applicant will be required to complete safeguarding certification and a DBS check.
