The Role
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build their career in finance. Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, you will gain hands-on experience across a range of accounting and finance tasks, supporting both the finance team and the wider business. You will work 37.5 hours per week over 5 days from 7. This role has potential to progress to hybrid after successful probation, working 2 days from home and 3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices, expenses, and staff reimbursements
- Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
- Helping to manage credit control and chase outstanding payments
- Assisting with payroll preparation and staff queries
- Supporting ad-hoc finance projects and audits
About You
- A keen interest in starting a career in finance or accounting
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail
- Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel
- Organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in hospitality or finance is an advantage, but not essential
