Job Overview
We are a 4th generation, multi award winning, family business based in Meriden near the NEC. We have just opened our brand new 33-bedroom hotel, nestled in the rolling hills of the Warwickshire countryside, and are looking to recruit a friendly and passionate Evening Receptionist to join our fantastic hotel team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers and visitors, providing exceptional service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well without direct supervision. On site there is also our 2 AA Rosette restaurant & function space, large tepee & garden area, pizzeria cafe & bar, butchery & bakery and our seasonal events such as Halloween/pumpkin picking, Christmas & Lambing live events!
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors to the hotel in a warm and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls for the business with excellent phone etiquette
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and guest messages via multiple platforms
- Maintain an organised filing system for documents and logs
- Assist with bookings in all aspects of the business
- Handle basic accounting tasks and ledger account
- Look at forecast for occupancy, for weeks/months at a time
- Work closely with Housekeeping department to achieve high cleanliness standards
