Access Creative College is seeking an enthusiastic and industry-aware Esports Lecturer to deliver innovative and inspiring teaching at our London campus. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for competitive gaming, digital strategy, and content creation to make a real impact on learners preparing for careers in the fast-growing esports sector.
About the Role
As a Lecturer in Esports, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, industry-relevant lessons across a range of esports topics, including gameplay strategy, shoutcasting, event planning, team management, and content production.
- Support learners in their development across the full study programme, including their Personal & Professional Development, and English & Maths where required.
- Provide timely and constructive assessment, ensuring learners progress and meet their potential.
- Collaborate with your team to develop enrichment opportunities, employer links, and live briefs that bring the subject to life.
- Help prepare students for success in esports competitions, industry pathways, and higher education.
- Work closely with the Additional Learning Support team and contribute to the wider campus and cross-curricular activities.

What We’re Looking For
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Esports, Games Development, Media, or a related subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent), or willingness to work towards one.
- A solid understanding of the esports landscape, including current trends, platforms, and professional opportunities.
- Experience teaching or delivering to groups of learners (in education or industry training settings).
- Strong digital and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support students of varying abilities.
- A commitment to inclusive education and student success.

- Hours: ACC is not your typical 9 - 5pm role. Whilst the contracted hours are 37.5 hrs this will be managed flexibly across the academic year to reflect the peaks and flows in working in education.
