EARLY YEARS MARKETING EXECUTIVE
We are seeking a creative, energetic, and highly organised Early Years Marketing Executive to deliver the marketing strategy for our group of day nurseries in the East of England.
This role is pivotal in leading the development of growth strategies across the group, as well as focusing on a range of marketing activities including online and offline campaigns, social media engagement and public interface to attract new clients and maintain occupancy.
This role will focus on enhancing and promoting brand awareness and building strong relationships with our families and other stakeholders.
We need an executive who will work collaboratively with Nursery Managers, accounts team, and the Head of Early years, to ensure consistent, high-quality marketing and communications across all media.
You’ll monitor trends, analyses competitors, track policy changes, and collaborate with others to keep the on the front foot in the early years marketplace.
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Market Strategy specialist to lead the development and execution of growth strategies across our nurseries.
A Marketing specialist in the Early Years sector focuses on promoting childcare services and resources to parents/guardians. The role typically involves a range of marketing activities, including online and offline campaigns, social media engagement and public relations to attract new clients and maintain occupancy.
Our social media presence needs to be taken to the next level, this accords you an opportunity to shape and develop a strategy and deliver creative campaigns that reflect our brand ethos and meets a range of individual interests.
The Role: What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Implement and support the nursery marketing strategy, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with key messages.
2. Plan, design, and deliver engaging marketing materials including brochures, flyers, newsletters, social media content, website updates, and press releases.
3. Manage and grow the nurseries’ social media presence, creating compelling content that reflects the unique identity of each setting.
4. Maintain and regularly audit website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
5. Collaborate with the Nursery Managers, Head of Early years and Director to plan and execute targeted campaigns.
6. Monitor and evaluate marketing performance using relevant metrics and tools, reporting regularly to the Head of Early Years and Director.
7. Manage a rolling programme of updates to marketing collateral and contribute to statistical marketing and recruitment reports.
8. Monitor the day nursery market and competitor activity.
9. Encourage and gather parent reviews for online platforms
10. Visit our nursery settings regularly to gather content including photography, video, articles, blogs, and news stories
11. Produce and deliver a detailed weekly content plan aligned with the marketing strategy and audience engagement goals.
12. Create and distribute the nursery newsletter and assist with internal communications.
13. Help devise, run and promote open days and other events, assisting with personal visits and ensuring a welcoming experience for prospective families.
14. Work collaboratively with nursery managers to align marketing efforts with operational and educational goals.
15. Support the nursery teams to manage and track enquiries, ensuring timely and effective engagement with prospective families, and supporting the conversion of enquiries into registrations.
16. Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, children, staff, partners, and media outlets
17. Engage with colleagues across the nurseries to generate buy-in for marketing initiatives and content creation.
18. Ensuring the group’s vision and values are effectively communicated to the target audience.
- Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Develop and schedule social media posts to grow followers and engagement
- Assist with planning and delivering marketing campaigns (digital and offline)
- Monitor trends, track analytics, and report on performance
- Work on creative projects including blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials
- Support day-to-day marketing activities and events
Person Specification:
Essential Skills & Experience
1. Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing
2. Preferably an understanding of early years or education market
3. Proven ability to create high-quality content across digital and print platforms.
4. Strong understanding of social media platforms, web search engine optimization and similar trends
5. Creative mindset that makes a story stand out and deliver the message to the target audience seamlessly.
6. Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
7. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
8. Confident in managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Proficient in IT systems and marketing tools and software.

4. A full UK driving licence, access to a company pool car is available to travel between our nurseries as it is a key part of the role.
A significant focus of this role is on creating authentic, engaging content that reflects the unique character of each nursery. To achieve this, regular on-site presence is essential. The successful candidate will spend much of their time working from our nursery settings, building relationships with staff and families, and capturing real-life stories, photos, and videos.
