Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and culinary practices, along with proven supervisory experience. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations within the kitchen or restaurant setting, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving procedures to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to maintain optimal stock for food production.
- Ensure that all health and safety standards are met, conducting regular inspections of kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal offerings and customer preferences.
- Foster a positive working environment by promoting teamwork, effective communication, and conflict resolution among staff members.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, providing guidance on company policies and procedures.
Skills
- Strong background in food preparation and culinary experience is essential.
- Proven supervisory experience with a focus on team management within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance in all operations.
