About The Role
We are seeking high-quality, experienced and capable Door Supervisors for licensed premises (pubs, bars and nightclubs) in Leeds (LS11 - Beeston) and surrounding areas - with start dates expected IMMEDIATELY for the right candidate. Successful applicants must be confident in deterring; de-escalating; and challenging undesirables. Applicants should display a positive attitude, be confident managing conflict in a professional manner and exercising powers of arrest in relation to criminal offences. Experience in a similar role is essential.
Essential Criteria
> A valid, in-date and verifiable SIA Security Guarding, Door Supervisor or Close Protection License
> Right to work documents
> A clear DBS certificate (we can apply for this on your behalf)
> Excellent timekeeping
> Conflict management skills
> Communication skills
> Listening skills with an ability to act on instruction from client management teams
> Teamwork skills
> Interpersonal skills
> Emotional intelligence
> Situational awareness
> An ability to write security related reports and statements
> Proficient in writing witness statements (although training can be provided)
> Smart and presentable appearance - we require staff to wear a formal uniform
Desirable Criteria
> Own transport (not applicable to candidates living locally)
> Previous experience within the security industry
> Commercial awareness
> Ability to interact and engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds
> Flexibility
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
