Job Description
ARC Glazing Limited is seeking a motivated and reliable Window Fitter's Mate to join our dynamic team in Sittingbourne, Kent. As a Fitter's Mate, you will play a vital role in assisting our installation professionals in the efficient and precise installation of our high-quality aluminium windows and doors and other aspects of construction work. Previous experience with UPVC and Aluminium is required,. Driving licence and basic transport necessary but the majority of the time we will be able to pick up depending on location. Ideally candidate will be located close to Queenborough/Medway. Candidate must be reliable, keen to work and enthusiastic and desire to progress with the prospect of becoming an independent fitter. CSCS card is not essential but would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the installation team with the fitting of aluminium windows, doors, sliding doors, bifolding doors, rooflights, and lanterns at various residential and commercial properties.
- Handling and moving materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and productivity.
- Assisting in loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites.
- Adhering to company guidelines and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Full UK driving license is essential.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and progress within the company.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
