Summary
To follow a brief to create presentations/designs of sports apparel and produce production ready designs with full spec sheets that can be approved by the customer. To ensure the designs maintain the high standards expected from O’Neills designs as expected by our customers.
Responsibilities
- Follow a brief to create presentations/designs of sports apparel
- To produce print ready artwork for production.
- To ensure designs maintain their integrity and reach the full potential, by correcting colours, placements and inconsistencies.
- To ensure the colour decisions are not affected while the design makes its way through the approval and printing process.
- Identify problems with designs early in the process.
- Design visuals or mock-ups as required.
- To work closely with the graphics, sales and production teams.
- Participate in all job training and coaching.
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations at all times.
- Ensure good working relations with colleagues.
- Ensure that absenteeism and tardiness are kept to a minimum.
- Ensure that company polices are adhered to, this includes Equal Opportunities Policy, Harassment Policy, Health and Safety Policy and Training Policy.
- Any other reasonable duties requested.
Essential
- At least 12 months’ experience in a creative role.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite (mainly Illustrator & Photoshop)
- Strong visual, layout and conceptual skills
- Great team player
- Keen eye for detail and awareness of the importance of brand guidelines
- An interest in learning and growing professionally
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy.
- Well organised, committed to meeting deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Ability to listen and assimilate information quickly. Able to ask clarifying questions and provide accurate information.
- Computer literate
Desirable
- Degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design or a relevant subject.
- Experience in the textiles industry
Based:
The successful candidate will be based in Strabane. Hybrid working will be considered once full training has been completed.
Remuneration
A competitive remuneration package is available to the successful candidate.
Hours:
39-hour working week (working week: Monday to Sunday). Candidates must be flexible.
