Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Answer the telephone in the prescribed manner
- Welcome all patients arriving at the practice
- Proficient with computer/laptop
- Ensure that the appointment system is efficient and accurate
- Collect and record patient payments
- Ensure that patient records are completed correctly before filing and storing them in an efficient, tidy and secure manner
- Liaise with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations as required
- Keep the office, reception area and waiting room clean and tidy
- Deputise for the practice manager
- Organise stock supplies and control
- Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice
- Undergo training as may be required to develop your skills and abilities
- Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR
Experience
- Experience in customer service environment essential
- Experience within dental industry desirable
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
