Job Vacancy: Service Advisor – Knypersley MOT Test Centre (ST8 7BD)
We’re looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing independent garage team in Knypersley.
About the Role:
As our Service Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers – in person, by phone and online. You’ll help book appointments, explain work required, prepare estimates and ensure customers are kept up to date throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and manage bookings
- Communicate clearly about repairs, MOTs and services
- Liaise between customers and technicians
- Create and manage job cards, estimates and invoices
- Handle parts ordering and stock updates
- Maintain accurate records and provide excellent service throughout
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a similar customer service or garage-based role
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Ability to work calmly in a busy environment
- Knowledge of cars and repairs (helpful but not essential)
- Comfortable with computers / garage management software

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Yearly bonus
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Stoke-on-Trent, ST8 7BD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
