Job Title: Credit Controller

About this role:
We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our lovely Inspired Property Management brand based within their Head Office in Doncaster. The purpose of this role is to provide efficient, accurate accounting and administration within the credit control department.
Main Duties & Objectives:
- To be solely responsible for a portfolio and to ensure service charge monies are collected in line with company policy, this includes carrying out a weekly credit control
- To take and process payments from leaseholders, entering the payments on the Qube accounting system
- To complete a daily bank download and post the transactions to the accounting system
- To bank any cheques which are received and post to the system
- To monitor leaseholder payment plans to ensure that agreements are adhered to
- To update leaseholder accounts with correct information as and when required
- To assist leaseholders with service charge account queries. This can be by telephone, email or letter
- To carry out various property management tasks as directed by your Manager or a Director
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently applied to required standards
- To provide weekly reports your Manager
- To attend monthly portfolio review meetings with your Manager
- To liaise with appointed solicitors when leaseholder accounts are referred for legal action, due to non-payment of service charges/ground rent/insurance demands

Essential Skills:
- Previous credit control experience.
- Good level of proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A confident and assured telephone manner.
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
- An effective and enthusiastic team player.
- Self-motivated and target driven.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work on your own initiative.
- Capable of working under pressure during busy periods.
