Palé Hall is an AA Five Red Star, Relais & Chateaux destination luxury country house hotel, with an acclaimed AA three-rosette and Michelin Green Star fine dining restaurant. We are currently seeking an exceptional Concierge to join our Front of House team. Working closely with the Head of Concierge, you will play a key role in delivering excellent service, acting as a focal point for our guests and ensuring their experience is distinguished by warmth, professionalism and thoughtful attention to detail.
About the Role
As a Concierge, you will create a positive first impression by offering a warm welcome to arriving guests, managing luggage and valet parking where required. You will anticipate guest needs throughout their stay and deliver flawless service, supporting other departments through clear, proactive communication. At departure, you will ensure each guest leaves with a memorable and positive final impression.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, offering a warm greeting on arrival and a cheerful farewell at departure
- Coordinate guest luggage handling and valet parking
- Build rapport with guests, share local knowledge and proactively suggest services, experiences and amenities
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the hotel’s services, rates and packages
- Communicate accurately with all departments to ensure guest expectations are met
- Carry out concierge services such as arranging transportation, babysitting/dogsitting, bespoke sightseeing itineraries, flowers and special requests
- Monitor Front of House stock levels and communicate any replenishment needs
- Undertake arrival room checks as required
- Maintain clean and well-presented Front of House areas through daily inspections and reporting
- Maintain up-to-date literature and information in relation to local attractions, events and activities
- Report all guest feedback (positive and negative) to management

- Professional, friendly and confident when engaging with both guests and service providers
- Positive and flexible attitude to support the wider hotel operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Impeccable grooming and personal presentation (uniform provided and must be worn to the required specification)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: £24,420.00-£29,106.11 per year
