Job Type: Full-Time permanent shift position
Remuneration: Up to £14.00 basic per hour (£16.80 shift), depending upon experience (£33196.80 per annum based on a 38 hour week with 20% shift premium).
Working week: 4/5 Days alternating early / late shift.

Jamestan Engineering Limited, have vacancies for CNC Setter / Operator within the Turning Department.
The successful applicant will need to have a good working knowledge of setting and operating multi axis CNC turning machines.
Responsibilities include:
- Set multi axis CNC lathes ensuring parts are correct to drawing specifications
- Running batch work, checking dimensions using various items of measuring equipment
- Filling in paperwork in accordance with company procedures
- Completing daily machine checks
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Skills: Essential
- Setting experience of CNC turning machines
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Following job route cards (process sheets)
- Basic IT knowledge
- Good engineering knowledge
Desirable
- Experience with Mazak machines
- Programming and setting experience of multi axis machines
- Experience with Fanuc controlled machines
Full time position.
Working week 38 hours - shift work.
Shift work – Earlies Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 14:00; Fridays 06:00 to 12:00. Lates Monday to Thursday 14:00 to 23:30.
Overtime - Friday / Saturday when available.
Remuneration: Up to £14.00 per hour basic depending upon experience plus 20% shift premium.
Holidays 25 days per year plus bank holidays.
