Due to continued investment and a rapidly growing customer base, we're looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join our team and help deliver high-quality components for clients in the automation, automotive, electrical, defence, and pharmaceutical sectors.
The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes with live tooling. You'll work with tight tolerances across a range of materials, using both online and offline programming (OneCNC) to produce precision parts that meet our strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes with live tooling for turning and milling operations
- Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls (online and offline)
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work specifications
- Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them running efficiently
- Troubleshoot machining issues and ensure continuous production flow
- Work closely with team members to improve processes and production efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a CNC Turner or similar role
- Strong programming and operating experience with Fanuc controls
- Comfortable working to fine tolerances and with a variety of materials
- Experience with OneCNC or similar offline programming software (advantageous)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and a positive, can-do attitude
