TSI Structures Ltd. is an established structural steelwork fabricator based on Norfolk, working on a wide range of building projects in multiple sectors. Due to retirement, we have an upcoming vacancy for a CNC drill line operator within our workshop based in Norwich.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual that not only works well with others, but also by themselves. Meaning, if you are unsupervised, we can count on you to manage your time well so you can keep up with the plater fitters within the workshop.

Show up to work on time every day to perform tasks at hand. Be honest, trustworthy, manage time well, and have a good attitude. Be interested in manufacturing and learning new skills. Take pride in the quality and efficiency of your work and demonstrate attention to detail.
General skills & responsibilities:
- Previous Structural Steel workshop experience would be ideal but not a mandatory requirement.
- Basic mathematics skills and using tape measures.
- Reading of structural steel fabrication drawings and working from lists.
- Machine operations:
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery & drill lines would be an advantage, but not necessary (training can be provided)
- Safely operate overhead crane for loading of steel onto drill line table
- Maintain equipment, tools, and workspaces in good clean working order.
Benefits:
- £12.50 - £14 per hour (based on experience) paid weekly.
- 39 hours per week (Mon to Thurs 8am-4:30pm & Friday 8am-3:30pm)
- Additional hours (when approved) are paid at an enhance rate of 1.5 times (2x for Saturday pm and Sundays)
