We are seeking a Cheese Wrapping Assistant who can support in carefully preparing and wrapping cheeses for retail and wholesale customers, ensuring products are well presented and kept in peak condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutting, wrapping, and labeling cheese with precision and consistency
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Assisting with stock rotation and storage of cheese
- Helping prepare orders for customers and wholesale clients
Person Specification
Essential:
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene
- Reliable and punctual with a team-first attitude
- Able to follow procedures consistently and responsibly
- This position involves standing for prolonged periods of time with repetitive manual tasks and working in a coldenvironment
Desirable:
- Experience working in a food production environment
- Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willing to undertake training)
- A passion for artisan food and sustainable production
Working Conditions
