We have a fantastic opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

This is a varied role supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the wider Executive Team. You’ll be at the heart of our organisation—managing schedules, enabling effective meetings, coordinating communication across departments, and supporting strategic initiatives that help us deliver our mission.

As the Executive Assistant, you’ll streamline diary and travel arrangements for the CEO, ensuring maximum efficiency and ensuring the smooth operation of Executive Team functions. You’ll also work closely with our governance team to support compliance, uphold transparency and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

You’ll partner with directors to maintain a high-functioning Executive calendar that highlights our accomplishments, focusses our attention and furthers our mission. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead medium – sized projects that contribute to the charity’s strategic goals.

This role offers variety, responsibility, and real impact—perfect for someone who thrives on supporting senior leaders and is looking for purpose in their next career move.

About You

You possess exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, enabling you to manage competing priorities and build strong relationships across the charity. Your proactive and adaptable nature allows you to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while your keen attention to detail ensures precision in all aspects of your work. With a passion for our work and a commitment to personal and professional growth, you are eager to contribute your talents to make a tangible impact on the lives of veterans and their families.

You hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle with business insurance for work purposes. You are willing and able to travel regularly for in-person meetings and events. Travel to our Downton offices (SP5 3RB) will be a minimum of approximately once per week with potential occasional travel to other UK locations, inclusive of London. Central London travel can be by train.

Please see the Job Description below for more information on this exciting opportunity.

About the Team

As a charity we’re here to support people from our Armed Forces community who are facing challenges after service. And so, of course, our role as an Executive Team is to maximise the impact of this work in service of them – stewarding our income, maximising our investment in support costs and carefully planning for the future – so we deliver the most impact for those most in need.
