About The Role
Casual Exam Invigilator
Start date: As soon as possible
Location: Ark Alexandra Academy, Hastings, East Sussex
Salary: Ark Support Scale 4, point 3: £12.80 per hour
Hours: Casual contract; hours will be variable dependent on need
Closing date: 11:59pm on 02 September 2025
Interview date: 18 September 2025
We are looking to add to our current bank of dedicated Casual Invigilators ensuring that all JCQ regulatory requirements for the conduct of examinations are strictly adhered to. Our Invigilators supervise students taking GCSE exams, A Level exams, mock GCSEs and general end of year exams as necessary throughout the school year, although the main exam period will be in May and June. Employment will be on a casual, claims only basis which will give you the flexibility to work around other commitments you may have.
Our standards are high, and we need someone who can be a team player and flexible when supporting other colleagues with the ability to be resilient, calm and professional under pressure. The successful candidate will be able to complete a range of online training to ensure the academy follows all JCQ requirements.
