Job Title: Exam Access Arrangements Specialist Assessors
Status: Permanent, 29.6 hours per week (4 days)

About the role
We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Exams Access Arrangement Assessor to join our friendly and hard-working team.
In this role you will ensure learners with additional needs have access to any specific exam arrangements as evidenced as the learner’s usual way of working to ensure they are not disadvantaged. All exam arrangements that are in place for all learners who requires them must be conducted according to JCQ and Awarding Organisations regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate, plan and undertake EAA assessments for students and apprentices
- Undertake initial screening tests to identifying additional support needs
- Oversee one to one and small group interventions for students who declare SEND or require EAA support
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance processes to enable consistency in assessments
- Working collaboratively with the Exams Team to ensure timely processing and planning of EAA
The successful candidate will have:
- A Level 7 SpLD Assessors Qualification or equivalent Exam Access Arrangements qualification
- A teaching qualification at Level 4 or above
- Knowledge of access arrangements and reasonable adjustments
- Thorough knowledge of JCQ Regulations and all relevant paperwork
- Knowledge of applying to numerous exam boards
- A degree or equivalent qualification
