Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service.
- Lead and grow the brunch & breakfast menu, bringing ideas and ensuring high-quality execution.
- Train, coach, and manage staff to deliver consistent food quality and customer service.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage rotas, delegate tasks, and supervise staff performance.
- Monitor inventory and place orders to keep the café fully stocked.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team on new brunch specials and seasonal ideas.
- Take day-to-day responsibility for operations, freeing the owner from routine involvement.
Requirements (Must-Have):
- Proven experience as a Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Manager in a café, restaurant, or hotel.
- Hands-on ability with brunch and breakfast items (crepes, coffee, light kitchen work) and able to train others.
- Strong knowledge of brunch trends, food prep, and service standards.
- Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations.
- Confident, reliable, and able to take ownership from day one.
