A successful candidate for this position will be supported by a team of professionals and will be working with the elderly who have dementia. As a Care Assistant you are responsible for working alongside the seniors, administering medications on occasions, maintain good working relationships with any visiting health professionals, ensure all documents are completed to a high standard, attend training. The Care Assistant must be patient, compassionate and capable of working as a team and also lone working to support our residents. Experience and qualifications are preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic care of the elderly.
- Communicate effectively with residents
- Keep records of any care interventions
- Deal with difficult situations involving residents on occasions.
