Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Butcher. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient preparation and production of high-quality meat products in a fast-paced butcher environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in butchering, and food safety, contributing to the overall success of our busy butchery.
Responsibilities
- Cut, Slice, Dice Beef , Lamb and Chicken.
- Ensure all food production meets safety and quality standards, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in butchery tasks, including the preparation of meats as required.
- Collaborate with butcher staff to maintain an organised and efficient workflow during service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the working area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Skills
- Proven experience in butchery roles within a butcher setting.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of food handling.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- A team player with strong communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with others in a busy environment.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
