Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
- Monitor cash flow and assist with payroll processing
- Liaise with accountants and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Maintain filing systems and document financial transactions
What We’re Looking For
- Proven knowledge as a Bookkeeper
- AAT Qualification or qualification by experience
- Proficiency with bookkeeping/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
- Experience of data analysis using Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and tax laws
- Excellent communication skills
