Wycliffe independent boarding school is looking for two friendly and dedicated part-time Boarding House Assistants to join our supportive Prep School Boarding Team. These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and young people, aged 7–13, and are committed to creating a safe, caring, and homely environment.
Available positions:
Boarding Assistant (Saturdays and Sundays)
The role is available on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12:15pm to 9:30pm, during term time (28-30 weekends).
Boarding Assistant (Saturday Evening)
The role is available on Saturday evenings, from 5:30pm to 9:30pm, during term time (28-30 weekends).
We welcome applications from individuals who have experience working with children or young people, possess strong organisational and teamwork skills, and take pride in maintaining high standards through a hardworking attitude. About Us
Wycliffe is an HMC co-educational day and boarding school. Wycliffe is located in Stonehouse, approximately 25 miles north of Bristol and 15 miles south of Cheltenham and Gloucester. Access via the motorway network is convenient (we are 3 miles from the M5) and there is a train station in Stonehouse (on the main line from London to Cheltenham) which is just a two minute walk from the school gates. In the Senior School pupils join at Year 9 (age 13) and continue until Year 13 (age 18). There are around 420 pupils in the school and 225 in the Sixth Form. Some 27 subjects are offered at A Level including Japanese, Film Studies, Computer Science and Psychology. Three BTECs are on offer as well as the EPQ. Main sports are rugby, football and cricket for boys with hockey, netball and tennis for girls.
