Basketball Coach

FIFTH Movement works with schools across Greater Manchester to get children and young people moving more, feeling better, and enjoying being active. We deliver a wide range of sports sessions, curriculum PE, and active clubs with a focus on quality delivery, and reliability.
We are looking for a Basketball Coach to deliver after-school clubs to secondary aged students in schools throughout Stockport. This is a freelance, self-employed position, ideal for someone looking for additional hours or for a university student wanting paid coaching work alongside their studies.
You’ll be delivering fun, structured basketball sessions that encourage participation, build skills, and engage young people in the sport.
What we’re looking for
- A genuine passion for basketball and working with young people
- A recognised basketball coaching qualification
- Experience coaching secondary-aged students (preferred)
- Reliability and professionalism
Essential requirements
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to drive and access to your own car (role involves travelling between schools)
