Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic hands on bar / restaurant assistant's to help in the daily operations of our pub. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service in a vibrant atmosphere.
Duties
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organisation within the bar area.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative drink menus that complement the food offerings.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
- Monitor bar operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Assist in developing promotional activities to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff, encouraging open communication and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry, preferably in a bar setting.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
- Knowledge of food production processes and culinary practices is advantageous.
- Excellent understanding of food safety standards and best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with both staff and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
