Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated bar and restaurant staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our establishment, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional service to our lovely customers. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, from serving drinks to assisting with food service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Duties
- Serve beverages and cocktails efficiently while adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Take food orders and ensure the items are put through the till correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and restaurant area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers to provide an enjoyable experience, including upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times.
- Comply with food safety regulations and maintain a high standard of hygiene throughout the bar and kitchen areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant and bar environment is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong customer focus
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and provide outstanding service.
- A proactive attitude towards upselling and enhancing the customer experience.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
