We are looking for a results-driven Sales Representative to join our Digital Insights team, focused on accelerating revenue growth across UK Banking clients. This role combines strategic account management with new business development, leveraging Moody’s CreditView – our flagship Credit Research, Ratings, and Analytics solution. The ideal candidate will be a skilled relationship builder and consultative seller, capable of navigating complex sales cycles and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver client value.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities within an assigned portfolio of existing accounts, while also initiating and managing new business opportunities from prospecting through to deal closure.
- Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to expand CreditView adoption across UK Banking clients, aligning solutions with client needs and strategic priorities.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, client engagement, presentations, contract negotiations, and closing.
- Develop a deep understanding of client organizations and workflows to recommend appropriate products and licensing strategies.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates, providing regular reporting to management.
- Partner with internal teams including Product Strategy, Marketing, and other stakeholders to support sales efforts and promote Moody’s solutions effectively.
- Represent Moody’s at industry events and client meetings, with up to 50% travel required; hybrid working flexibility is provided.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
- 7+ years of successful sales experience within a research, data, or analytics vendor, preferably selling to financial market participants.
- Proven ability to sell using a consultative, solutions-based approach and influence key decision-makers throughout the sales cycle.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is essential, with additional European languages considered an asset.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to diagnosing client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, both independently and collaboratively, with high attention to detail.
