Summary
We’re seeking an Internal Sales Representative to play a key role within our team. This position focuses on managing the first point of contact with clients, while also nurturing and developing existing customer relationships to drive ongoing business growth.
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am to 17:00pm, and alternating Saturdays 08:00am to 12:00pm.
Pay: £12.21 + DOE
Responsibilities
- Follow up and file quotations issued to check competitiveness and to secure sales
- Answer all internal sales enquiries, advising product availability, delivery dates, transport schedules and product lead-times promptly and accurately
- To proactively call targeted accounts as requested by Management
- Respond to telephone sale enquiries, pricing in accordance with current guidelines, to maximise their profitable conversion to orders
Requirements/Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- MS Office proficient
- Sales background
- Experience in a building merchant setting (desirable)
