Well qualified graduate required to work with Chartered Psychologists in carrying out a range of Educational and Psycho-Legal assessments. This post will also provide opportunities to become involved in the following:
- Administering various psychometric tests
- Delivering training to groups of professional and non-professionals
- Research and developing information guides
- Project work (Offenders with Learning Disabilities, Young Offenders, Parenting, Domestic Violence) Training and support will be provided by a Chartered Psychologist
Ongoing training and continuing professional development will also be encouraged.
The post will ideally appeal to Psychology graduates in need of practical experience.
This position is 0.6-0.8 of a full time equivalent post and attracts a salary of up to £26000 (pro-rata). It is initially for 18 months but may be extended beyond this period.

Overview of ACPAS
The Adult and Child Psychological Assessment Service (ACPAS) provide a range of psychological services (incorporating, assessment, therapy and training) to individual service users as well as social, health, and criminal justice agencies.
Services vary from cognitive assessments for educational and/or employment purposes, to risk assessments in criminal, personal injury and family law matters.
We provide training and consultancy in the following areas; parenting skills, specific learning difficulties, domestic violence and young offenders.
