Apprentice Administrator
Location:
Wimborne (ad hoc support across local region)
Purpose:
Provide proactive and efficient administrative support to the Development team from the Wimborne office, while continuing to learn and develop in the role.
Salary:
£22,500 - £24,000 DOE + £1,000 sign on bonus

September 2025
About the team:
3 Directors, 1 Associate Director, 3 Qualified Surveyors and one apprentice make up the Wimborne Development team and cover Valuation, Agency, and Recoveries.
Training:
Level 2 or Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship depending on previous experience.
On the job training is provided to ensure all the required knowledge and experience is obtained throughout the apprenticeship to qualify successfully.
How you will make an impact:
The successful candidate will receive training to become highly organised, reliable, flexible, and methodical. They will learn how to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to perform well under pressure while consistently delivering a high standard of service to both colleagues and clients.
Day to day duties:
- Supporting the valuation team with administrative duties
- Using the in-house VWS platform to generate valuation reports (training will be provided)
- Preparing and sending Confirmation of Instruction letters
- Assisting with due diligence research
- Processing invoices and raising purchase orders
- Managing and maintaining the electronic filing system
- Closing instructions and ensuring they meet compliance requirements
- Conducting conflict of interest checks
- Carrying out any other ad hoc tasks as required by the team
Required Core Competencies:
- Good IT skills, including Excel, Power Point, Word
- Attention to detail
- Spelling and grammar
- Effective communication skills
- Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Comfortable working with numbers and using financial spreadsheets
Working Week:
Five full days in the office, working hours 08.30am to 5:00pm. The equivalent of one of these days each week will be dedicated to apprenticeship studies whilst in the office.

Entry requirements:
GCSE English and Maths at Level 4 (Grade C) or above is a mandatory requirement and you may not apply if you are currently studying for or already have a degree.
You must be eligible to live, work and remain in the UK, within an hour’s commute of the office you are applying to.
