After School Arts Club Ltd is an activity club business in London, N14. We are an innovative after school club, providing quality arts education in an after school setting and our goal is to develop skills in confidence and creativity in young children through the arts.
**Hiring Support Team Members**
After School Arts Club is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team. As a Support Team member, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children who attend the club.
**Job Summary:**
As Support Team, you will ensure the well-being of the children in attendance. Your responsibilities will include setting up craft activities, handing out snacks, signing out at the end of the session, managing areas keeping them safe, assisting in maintaining a clean and organised environment. You will be able to encourage and support children at the club so that the facilitator can run the session.
**Responsibilities:**
- Engage with children in various activities, supervising the well-being of the children
- Assist in the running of the session by supporting the facilitator
- Collect children from other classrooms and bring them to the session location within the school
- Collect the snack from the kitchen and hand out prepared sandwiches and fruit safely.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members
- Support the leadership team in daily tasks
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
**Experience:**
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
- Experience with children age 4-6 preferable, formal or informal
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Leadership qualities to support the team and contribute to a positive work environment

Hours: 15:30-17:30, one or more fixed sessions a week term time only. LOOKING FOR MONDAY AND/OR TUESDAY AT THIS TIME.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience £26-£30 per 2 hour session (£13-£15ph)
