We are seeking to appoint an Administrator to join our team at Eastwood Village Primary School. Our school was recently awarded the ‘Good’ status from Ofsted and is situated in the heart of an area of rich cultural diversity, near to the centre of Rotherham. The administrator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school office, providing professional and responsive administrative support to staff, pupil, parents and visitors.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Communicate effectively and professionally, respecting the diverse, multicultural community of the school.
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring all administrative systems run smoothly and efficiently.
- Oversee and execute tasks including word processing, data entry, record keeping, reprographics, banking transactions, mail distribution and reception duties.
- Maintain and update school databases, pupil records, and staff information using advanced IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, and other school systems).
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies, reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Liaise with external agencies, contractors, and suppliers as needed to support school operations.
- Promote and safeguard the wellbeing of children, reporting any concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in line with school policies.
