This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to administrative tasks related to purchasing and quality control within a spring manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and assisting with quality control procedures.
- Purchasing:
- purchasing process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and supplies.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and other related documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery schedules, and any issues.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers to optimize cost savings.
- Develop and maintain a database of approved suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to ensure adequate stock of materials.
- Quality Control:
- with the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures.
- Perform visual inspections of incoming materials.
- quality control records and reports.
- Support the quality team in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- General Administration:
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and handle general inquiries.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
