The Governors and Headteacher of Kells Lane Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced and efficient administrator with immediate effect or as soon as reasonably practicable.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
- an excellent work ethos, who can cope with the demands of a busy school office
- that they can maintain a welcoming reception to the school for all pupils and visitors
- that they can work proactively as well as reactively
- that they can organise, maintain and monitor pupil attendance and all pupil systems
- that they have previous experience of using a schools MIS (preferably Arbor)
- that they have previous experience of handling cash, data entry and maintaining an electronic diary system
- that they can produce reports and carry out other duties to support the School Business Manager, Head Teacher and Governors
You will be expected to be able to manage your own workload and respond to the many interruptions throughout the school day. You need to be committed and motivated in your work.
Proposed hours of work 7.45am – 1.45pm Monday – Friday. Some flexibility may be required around this.
