Role Description – Admin / Control Room Supervisor
The Admin / Control Room Supervisor is a key member of our security operations team, responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day control room activities. This role ensures that security incidents are monitored, responded to, and recorded efficiently, while also supporting operational needs during alarm activations.
Primary Duties:
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to security incidents in real time.
- Log all incidents, activations, and relevant information accurately in company systems.
- Dispatch and coordinate response units, attending alarm activations personally when required.
- Assist with administrative tasks including shift reports, incident summaries, and system checks.
- Provide clear communication and updates to team members, management, and clients when necessary.
- Ensure all security protocols and company procedures are followed at all times.
Working Conditions:
- Based in the control room but may be required to travel to sites in response to activations.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts as required by the operational schedule.
- Use of a company vehicle while on shift for attending alarm activations.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Strong IT skills with the ability to operate monitoring and reporting systems confidently.
- Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
